This month I took a time out from the hot summer streets of NYC to visit the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Connecticut. The aquarium really impressed me, and I just loved wandering around looking at all the incredible aquatic life. There’s something about being able to see fish, sharks, and sea turtles up close that makes my heart happy. I hope you enjoy viewing my 30 minutes under the sea this month 😉
Psst! Now that you’ve finished a little undersea voyage, go check out the next photographer in our group’s take on the “30 minutes” project! It’s the fantastic Amanda Voelker again, and I’m excited to see what Italian adventure she takes us on this month 🙂
This is so special and beautiful, Colleen! I just told my daughter today in the morning that we have to visit NY Aquarium soon (it’s basically around the corner for us). Now I’ll show her your wonderful post to get her even more excited! 🙂
These are really beautiful. I love how well you captured all these neat animals. I really love aquariums too and this post made me really happy.
stunning work Colleen Putman.
I love the colors in your photo’s and the sea horses, Colleen, oh I want one. Really stunning. Makes me want to go and visit and aquarium.
Oh wow. These are so magical and beautiful and real. My kids would LOVE this spot.
Well done!
Very cool! Love the colors & all the creatures we get to visit 🙂
Great job Colleen! You are such a well-rounded wonderful photographer. I love how you caught them so that they look like they have personalities, like those three right next to eachother. xo
These are amazing. The Boston Aquarium is so dark, so I can appreciate the challenge of getting good images, but these are so bright and vibrant. Beautifully done. I look forward to continuing to follow your work Colleen. 🙂
