Earlier this month I flew to Boston for an engagement photo session with the fabulous Maria & Matthew.  They are both from the NYC area, but currently live in Boston.  We decided to take photos in the Boston Public Gardens, right across from their apartment building.  The whole Commons area has been such an important setting to this lovely couple — they met on one side of it at the Four Seasons, had their first kiss (while playing around on a luggage cart at the Ritz) on another, and now they live together in their home overlooking the park.  We waited till the beautiful summer sun began to set, and headed out.

Maria & Matt are such a sweet, romantic couple — they walked around the whole time hand-in-hand, talking excitedly about how they met, their life in Boston, and their upcoming wedding.  They were so genuinely happy and their smiles so contagious, Maria & Matt made me feel like an old friend, even though we had just met!  I am so thrilled to have met this amazing duo, and cannot wait to photograph their wedding this weekend!
