My sister and I surprised our parents for Thanksgiving this year by flying in and staying at their new home in Nashville.  They were so surprised and thrilled — happy tears were shed from both!  We had the best time together and of course I insisted on taking some updated family photos while the 4 of us were all together 🙂  I love taking new photos of us every few years — the whole family does, although there were a few good-hearted grumbles about the chilly weather, but promises of wine got us all through the shoot!  My mom makes sure to order prints as soon as she can to frame and hang on their walls.  (Now you know where I got my love of displaying photos as art in my home)!  Can’t wait for us all to be together again for Christmas!
