I’ve known Danielle and Peter for years now — I met Danielle on a bachelorette trip in the Bahamas, and I photographed Danielle’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago which was on Peter’s 30th birthday!  I was thrilled when I found out these two longtime loves got engaged, and beyond excited when they asked me to photograph their very own wedding at the Bronx Zoo!

Their wedding day was picture perfect — sunny blue skies without a trace of clouds, mild temperatures, and smiles as far as the eye can see.  Danielle and Peter were both so calm before they exchanged vows, excited to finally get married and celebrate with their loved ones.  Danielle’s parish priest married them at the chapel at Manhattan College, where they both met as students.  From there, everyone went to the Bronx Zoo!  Cocktail hour was out by the Sea Lions (who provided wonderful entertainment splashing around), and then the reception was held in the historic Lion House.  Their guests danced the night away to the most amazing band (seriously — if you are looking for a wedding band you MUST check them out) and sat for a caricaturist who created unique take-home gifts for everyone!  The entire day was a wonderful tribute to love, happiness and fun!  Danielle & Peter — thank you for asking me to document your special day — it was truly a pleasure 🙂
