Some of my friends planned a little excursion out of the city this month to go apple and pumpkin picking upstate, and I was so excited because I looove fall so much and all that comes with it — chilly weather, apples, pumpkins, cider, etc… We visited Applewood Orchard and it was wonderful — we started out with hot cider and apple cider donuts (yum!), took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and picked our pumpkins, had some awesome hard cider, watched a kite festival, picked apples, and got back to the city just after the sun set.

Absolutely gorgeous fall photos! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Wow that looked like a great deal of fun Colleen. I love that the pumpkins were scattered around. The fall colors are gorgeous and apple picking sounds like a great idea. The fall leaves are spectacular. I must experience fall like that at least once in my lifetime. Thanks for sharing. Great images.
Such beautiful colors it so makes me want to be there! Great details!
