I’m a native Floridian who spent the last 2 decades traveling the world, studying Art History and Photography, and calling NYC home. I've found my calling in photographing happy people. I love being able to serve clients in a professional and cheerful manner, creating your favorite photographs ever!
Back on the beautiful Suncoast of Florida, I look forward to providing you with my skills and expertise as a portrait photographer to create joyful and timeless images you can proudly display in your home.
I will guide you through the entire portrait process, from our first consultation phone call or email all the way through hanging your gorgeous photos on your wall! I aim for our time together to be fun, stress-free, and meaningful. So many of my present clients have repeatedly voiced how comfortable my approach made them and their families throughout our time together. Isn’t that how it should be?! Hi! I'm COLLEEN PUTMAN
I'm a native Floridian who has spent the last 15 years in New York City and recently relocated back to the Gulf Coast. I studied Art History at a small liberal arts school in Vermont, and after graduation I studied photography at ICP (the International Center of Photography). I absolutely love to travel and have explored 5 continents already (I'm coming for you, South America and Antarctica!) I also have a degree in World Religions, and the one thing I've found to be true is that all over this planet, despite how different we may think we are, we all strive to be happy and feel connected.
Taking photographs of people and my travels is my way of creating happiness. Looking at photographs of your loved ones or magical places should bring you joy, and it's my absolute pleasure to create it.

While I love traveling near and far for photo assignments, my home base is in beautiful Saint Petersburg, FL, where I've discovered a variety of gorgeous locations, including the Gulf beaches, nature parks, and fun urban backdrops.
As I recently relocated from NYC, I am traveling back there often to photograph my loyal clients, as well as some awesome new ones! Some of my favorite locations in NYC include: Central Park, Grand Central Station, Brooklyn Bridge Park, The High Line, The West Village, Tribeca, SoHo, The Lower East Side, The Metropolitan Museum, and Bryant Park.
Not in FL or NYC? I'm happy to come to you!
