10 years ago, I had the most wonderful time studying abroad in Cannes, France.  It changed my perspective on the world, and I made some really amazing memories and friends.

Last week, my study abroad roommate and very good friend, Janell, and I met up there for a mini reunion.  We spent the week reminiscing, strolling around town (as well as a few other gorgeous towns along the coast), eating our way through delicious menus, and lounging on the beach with lots of wine!

A very tan French woman receiving a massage on her lounge chair nearby looked up at one point and murmured, “Ça, c’est vacances.”  (translation:  this is vacation).  I couldn’t agree with her more!
