I hope you liked checking out all my July Instagram photos in last month’s post!  Here are all the quick snaps I took in August 😀

August started out in England:  imagined how horses spoke with British accents / drove down to the Brighton Pier for a sunny summer stroll / went to a spooky stable after many margaritas / had a fruity drink delivered to my hotel room while editing photos

Then I:  left England for The Netherlands / spent the first day watching the rain from inside my comfy hotel room in Eindhoven / got a surprise photo text from my mom saying they adopted a dog from the pound / visited Van Gogh Village in Nuenen / went biking along quaint trails / biked past dozens of windmills and cows in the Dutch countryside / explored Amsterdam without a *cloudy* brain (hah)

Flew back to NYC:  hooray for the window seat on long flights / was home in NYC just long enough to witness a beefy man pushing a poodle in a baby carriage / celebrated a friend’s birthday at Brooklyn Brewery

Took off for Lexington:  always love the view from over Manhattan / traveling too much:  need new forms of caffeine / enjoying the gorgeous Kentucky countryside / hung out with my friends Brittany and Patrick’s baby girl / loving the green grass and blue skies of KY / surprise visit with my parents as they drove through Kentucky on their way to Michigan!

And ended the month in Vail:  met up with my sister for a relaxing (but not really) week in Vail, Colorado and stayed at a gorgeous hotel / did so.much.hiking / but the view from the top was worth it / went horseback riding in the mountains with a real cowboy / saw fresh evidence that a bear was nearby / hung out with my sister and her boyfriend in Denver / sad to go back to NYC after a fun vacation
