What better way is there to spend a gorgeous crisp fall day in NYC than to photograph an intimate, emotional marriage ceremony of two lovely individuals! Heather and Dion plan on getting married next month in Mexico with all their friends and family, but decided to do the legal ceremony in NYC before that. Their immediate families flew in for the event, which took place in Washington Square Park.
Everyone in the park was very respectful during the ceremony, keeping their distance, but of course there were lots of smiles and cheers from people strolling by!
After the wedding vows, Heather & Dion and I took off for a bit to photograph just them in the park! I just loved Heather’s pink coat – a bit of foreshadowing for her incredible wedding gown next month! And she wore the same shoes she will wear then (so beautiful!)
They picked out the most beautiful bands!
I just love the Washington Square Arch, with the new World Trade Center peeking through in the background!
We popped into the Washington Mews for a few quick photos as well! I love this charming little private street, tucked away in Greenwich Village!
Heather and Dion – I cannot wait to photograph (and celebrate) your wedding next month in Mexico! Thank you for the honor of documenting both of these big days for you – you’re such a wonderful couple and I’m so happy for you both!
