There’s just something about a wedding in Manhattan that makes everything seem so glamorous, straight out of a movie. I was absolutely delighted when my friend Jessica, of Jessica Haley Photography, asked me to second shoot for her last October.
Kristen and Chris were an adorable and kind couple; I could tell from the very first moments I spent time with them as they got ready at the Bryant Park Hotel. They decided to do a first look on the steps of the New York Public Library followed by family and bridal party portraits. (I love when couples get all of the formal photos out of the way before the actual wedding — it allows them to relax and enjoy the rest of their day!) The ceremony took place in Chelsea at the amazingly gorgeous Church of St. Francis Xavier, followed by photos on the Highline and in the Meatpacking District. The party took place at the Bryant Park Grill in a transparent tent allowing the gorgeous skyline to shine through.
Thanks for having me along, Jessica, and congratulations to the lovely couple!
