Being a photographer is wonderful; it’s my dream job and I pinch myself often that I’ve made this my life’s career. But it can also be lonely at times, spending the majority of my work time behind my computer or at my desk. I’ve been so lucky to connect with a number of amazing photographers through industry workshops and other creative gatherings.
Elizabeth, Jo, Karen and I love to get together often to talk shop and just have fun. On a recent get together at Jo’s awesome portrait studio in Rye, NY, we decided to take each other’s portraits so we could all have some updated headshots. It was so fun! Check out the results 🙂
Elizabeth is a fabulous family portrait photographer in New Jersey. She’s a mom to 6 kids (+ 3 step-kids!) and I’m not quite sure how she maintains her energy!
Jo is a marvelous family photographer with a gorgeous portrait studio in Rye, NY. She’s originally from England and has 2 kids in college.
Karen is an amazing child photographer with an impressive home studio in Greenwich, CT. She also has two kids in grammar school.
And yes, yes, I had my portrait taken as well. I can’t remember which of the ladies took this for me but I’m glad they did! Cheers to a fun photographer’s day!
