What can I say about these two? Elea is one of my closest friends, and I was a happy witness as she and Doug’s friendship evolved into romance over the past several years. They are perfect for each other. These two are so natural together, and I am so happy I was able to take their engagement photos for them!
We began out shoot on the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, and walked the length of it, stopping at the spot where Doug proposed to Elea, and she said yes. They decided to put a lock on the bridge at the very spot they agreed to marry each other. Afterwards, we wandered through the Brooklyn Bridge Park, stopping to take photos here and there. I had such a great evening photographing these two, and I cannot wait until their awesome wedding next summer in Elea’s parents’ backyard in Vermont!
Cheers!
oh dear lord I could cry! So in love…shit…I am so happy you two found each other!
Goodness Colleen, this is a gorgeous and romantic set. What a backdrop too!
Beautiful Colleen – what a special moment to be part of.
Beautiful pictures Colleen!! I’m so happy for Elea and Doug. I knew it must be love when he went to an NKOTB concert with Elea, Janell and Phoebe!
