Another month just flew by!! September is always my favorite month of the year, but it always goes by way too fast. Luckily I managed to squeeze in some fun times in the past 30 days 😉
I began this month at home in NYC: I explored Central Park with a friend and found some awesome waterfalls / Bought a Keurig machine to encourage my new desire to become a coffee drinker / Did an engagement shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge / Entered a photography giveaway contest (didn’t win; boo!) / Ordered an iced tea at Starbucks and they messed up my name *again* / caught the Manhattan Bridge on my way home from Brooklyn one night / Got a super cool modlet installed on my a/c units so I can control them from my iPhone / walked through a street fair with a friend on a super Sunday afternoon
Then I flew to Lexington, KY: Visited an awesome bourbon distillery one morning (yes, nothing wrong with some bourbon in the a.m.) / Got to visit with a sweet friend and her adorable daughter
Literally flew home to NYC for less than 12 hours: Snapped a quick shot of my hood on my way to the airport in the early a.m.
Then flew down to Tampa, FL: Love the simple Tampa skyline with palm trees / Grabbed an hour break for iced chai at the Oxford Exchange in between 5 photo shoots that weekend
Back to NYC: Spied a bride and groom on a Tuesday morning in midtown (crazy?) / Experienced my first Pumpkin Spice Latte (not bad!!!) / Went to the Lego Store in Rockefeller Center with my 3 little cousins visiting from Nova Scotia / Took them to the 5th Avenue Apple Store / Went to Serendipity 3 for the best desserts EVER / No NYC trip is complete without a little spin on the Big Piano at FAO Schwartz / Kids LOVE climbing the giant rocks in Central Park
