“the best is yet to come”

Maria and Matthew make me smile.  They are such a lovely couple, and I was so lucky to photograph their wedding earlier this month!

The ceremony was very intimate, at a Russian Orthodox cathedral in NYC, and it was just beautiful to witness Maria’s Russian heritage embrace Matthew and his family.  The following day, Maria & Matthew celebrated their marriage with family and friends poolside at a luxe estate in New Jersey.

Maria & Matthew were toasted by their fathers in beautiful and heartfelt speeches, both in Russian and in English, and everyone had an amazing time at the party — the decadent food and delicious cocktails fueled the guests to dance the day away.  Above all, it was clear to see how thrilled the newlyweds were to celebrate their marriage surrounded by their loved ones.  It was a perfect beginning to what is sure to be a long and happy life together!
