This month I was lucky to find myself in the United Arab Emirates and decided to spend my 30 minutes monthly project exploring the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi at night. (Ok confession — this wasn’t supposed to be my 30 minutes project location but I showed up half an hour before they closed that evening so — voila!) A man in front of me in line at the passport control in Dubai’s airport told me that the mosque is most gorgeous at night, all lit up. And he was so right! It was magical walking around this absolutely beautiful house of worship, seeing all the lights creating such dramatic views. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, as everyone was very respectful and meditative. Please join me on my half hour walk around the mosque!
