For this month’s “30 minutes” project, I went to Butterfly World in Coconut Creek, Florida.  I only had a half an hour to pop in real quick, so it worked out perfectly.  After stepping through several doors, I found myself surrounded by thousands of different colored butterflies!  It was so much more than I expected, I actually laughed out loud as they all were landing on me and the other people in the butterfly room!  I only had my 35mm lens on my camera, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to get too close to them, but I hope these photos will help you to feel as though you were there with me 😉

So beautiful!! Love the colors!! And that’s the only downside of the 35!! Mine stays on most times, too.

  2. Stacey Weller Markel says:

So beautiful and colorful! I love butterflies and have a standing annual trip to a local garden to capture images. My 35 is on mine all the time and it captures images beautifully!

  3. Sharleen Hudson Stuart says:

I love the colors. I keep saying I am going to go there. If you want to go for longer with a zoom lens give me a shout. I will happily go. The butterflies are just gorgeous and I love the image of the passionfruit. I think you have encouraged me to head over there and visit.

  4. Summer Christen Kellogg says:

THESE ARE SO COOL!! Oh my goodness, the parrot on the head? Perfection!!

It’s amazing to me how beautiful and diverse nature is. What a great idea and you captured it perfectly! Thank you for taking me along. 🙂

  9. Amanda Voelker says:

What a beautiful share! I love these photos and am thrilled for the chance to live through them. I’ve learned that as much as I love butterflies, I don’t do super well in spaces where insects may land on me at any second.
