Christina + Tim: Engaged!

A few months ago, my sister and her long-term boyfriend got engaged while on vacation in Mexico! We all celebrated together at our parents’ house up on Lake Michigan. I begged Christina and Tim to let me take their engagement photos, but neither of them like to be in front of the camera. But one day, after we got back from visiting several local wineries… they were just tipsy enough to let me convince them! (Yay wine!)

There is a gorgeous forest behind my parents’ home that has the most glorious golden light filtering through every afternoon. We started there.

Then we walked down to the lakefront – Lake Michigan is absolutely beautiful, and we all love spending time on it in the summer!

They couldn’t stop giggling – neither of them were too into the photos but were doing it to make me happy. Although I *think* they ended up having a really fun time!

Congratulations Christina and Tim! I can’t wait to celebrate your marriage next spring!
