Three years ago I photographed my friend Val doing what she is most passionate about: cooking! Here’s the blog post if you’d like to see it again. Since then, Val attended the Italian program at The International Culinary Center and learned so much more about fine tuning her craft. Last month, she invited her sister and me over for a delicious meal and I photographed it for her upcoming food blog that will be launched in 2015!
Here is the delicious menu she prepared:
Fennel and fig infused vodka cocktail with rosemary
Kale salad with roasted butternut squash, parmesan, toasted pine nuts and red bell pepper in apple cider vinegar dressing
Roasted cauliflower soup with melted leeks, toasted pecans and rye croutons
Dijon and cognac beef stew
Buttermilk biscuits
Pear, cranberry and gingersnap crumble
