My friend Tom asked me to be his “Second Shooter” at a wedding in the East Village. I jumped at the chance because I think 2nd shooting is even more fun than being the primary photographer! You see, while Tom was making sure he captured all of the important traditional photos a bride and groom want on their wedding day, I was free to snap photos of anything and everything that I saw fit to be photographed at this beautiful, intimate ceremony in the garden of St. Mark’s.
Suzanne and Steve are such a beautiful couple, and I loved how they surrounded themselves with only their closest family and friends to share their special day. Even a sudden downpour during the ceremony failed to put a damper on the joy they radiated on their wedding day. Cheers to Suzanne and Steve, and thanks to Tom for inviting me out to shoot with him!
