Snow Day: Toledo Family Portraits

I grew up in Florida and didn’t get to experience the magic of a Snow Day! (Yes we had hurricane days… but that’s not nearly as fun). I was delighted to wake up on the day of the Toledo Family’s portrait session to discover it was snowing and not about to stop!

We began our session in their happy, colorful living room, and I fell in love with Virginia’s design style (not surprising, as she’s 1/2 of the amazing design team at Toledo + Geller). You all know I LOVE color, so to see this much in a family’s living room had me doing a happy dance!

We ventured outside where we didn’t encounter another soul the entire time! We had a magical winter wonderland all to ourselves!

Of COURSE there were a few snowballs thrown!

Isn’t this family the cutest?! Even their pup is adorable!!

I always love to photograph Mom and Dad alone for a few snaps… these two are so cute together!
