I met Alli at a friend’s wedding several years ago, and her big smile and enthusiasm for life were instantly contagious!  She’s followed my photography journey throughout the years and we were finally able to arrange a session for her adorable family last month when I was visiting my family in northern Michigan.  Alli and Mark drove a couple of hours from their home in Grand Rapids and we met in beautiful Traverse City for some beach/park photos.

Alli and Mark’s little girl, Amelia, was such a delight!  Just like her mom, her sweet smile rarely left her face, and we had so much fun running after her on the beach, playground and marina.  I was in such awe at how relaxed and easy going Alli and Mark were as parents — it was definitely reflected in how absolutely lovely and happy their little girl is!  Amelia’s love of the water and boats was evidenced by her little squeals of delight that were so infectious; she had us all laughing the whole time 🙂  I wish our time together wasn’t so short; hopefully we can meet up there again next summer!
