“i’ve got a golden ticket!”

At the beginning of this year, I decided to join a 52 Week photo project, organized by Sarah Cornish of My Four Hens Photography (an extremely talented photographer based in Colorado).  There are over two thousand photographers from around the world who come together once a week to submit their photo assignments, and Sarah spends every Monday going through the entries and choosing her favorites.  It’s been such a fun project that I look forward to doing every week, and my goal at the beginning of the year was to be included in one of the week’s “eye candy,” which includes about 20 of her runners up for each assignment.  Imagine my surprise when that happened within the first month!!  And I was even more shocked when she chose my photo as this week’s winner!!!  The theme was “warmth” and I took this photo while relaxing on the beach on Sanibel Island, watching the sun set.  I am thrilled that my work was recognized, and I look forward to continuing this 52 Week project with an awesome community of photographers.
