April was a wonderful month here in New York! It was the first month in a very LONG time that I didn’t travel one bit, unless you count flying back to New York from FL on the first 😉 The first week I had friends visit from both Dubai and Kansas, which was so fun! I especially loved showing all of their kids around the city — going to the Top of the Rock, Serendipity for frozen hot chocolate, and the American Museum of Natural History! It has started warming up a bit, which has provided really great people watching. I love taking street photographs, and it’s much easier to do so when I’m not bundled up in a hat, coat, and gloves. I wrapped up the month by taking 3 kids to the “Night at the Museum” sleepover at the Natural History Museum, which was absolutely awesome! We got to do scavenger hunts in our pajamas in the darkened museum using flashlights, and slept underneath the giant whale in the Hall of Ocean Life. I’ll post some photos from our adventure soon! May is going to be a busy month with lots of travel and scheduled photo sessions and events; I’m so glad I’ve had an entire month to relax and enjoy being home in New York!
I’m thouroughly enjoying your work! So excited to go through your blog.
