“a dream it’s true but i’d see it through”

After spending a long weekend in Eugene, I traveled up the coast to a teeny-tiny little beach town called Manzanita.  It’s one of my favorite places in the whole world.  I booked an amazing bungalow at Coast Cabins, stocked up on some wine and homemade chips+salsa, and did nothing for a week.  Seriously.  I did not have a plan or care in the world, which if you know my normal, hectic NYC lifestyle, you’d be pretty proud of.

I did a few day hikes (including a sunrise hike in a rainforest where I was almost certain a mountain lion would jump out of nowhere and attack me), read a book or two on my new Kindle, rode horseback on the beach, got an amazing massage at Spa Manzanita, and walked up and down the long stretch of beach every morning and every evening.

This vacation was absolutely perfect.  I can’t wait to go back!
