I’m photographing Allie’s Bat Mitzvah in June, so we planned to meet up downtown for a pre-party photo session.  I love photographing the teens before their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs so their parents will have photos of their last few weeks before they become a teenager.  It’s such a special time, and these tweens here in NYC are absolutely the most fun to work with!  Allie’s family also arranged for some family photos to be taken at the same time, so below you’ll find a mix of family photos and Allie’s portraits.  This family was just awesome to work with!  They were totally up for any ideas I had and we laughed a lot during our little stroll around the Meatpacking District and down the High Line.  It was literally a picture perfect day and the area was packed with locals and tourists alike, all enjoying the warm sunshine and people watching.  Allie, I’m SUPER excited to photograph your Bat Mitzvah in June — knowing you and your family now, it’s going to be one awesome party!
